Sad to lose mine ... but have forgiven the puppy

I bought a green Lamy pen with ink converter from another source a couple of years ago because I needed a fountain pen in order to make a hand-written document at the beginning of COVID. Then I decided my Australian labradoodle Riley needed a companion besides me, and in December little Rikki (a mini Australian labradoodle) came and has been a destructor ever since. An early target for her sharp puppy teeth was my beloved Lamy, along with baseboards, dog toys, a favourite blanket ... you get the jist. Anyway, it's time to replace the Lamy (nothing has been able to take its place, so here I am, hoping to get a new one soon). Nothing has been able to replace the Lamy — I will keep it away from Rikki (though she has learned how to surf the dining room table and my office desk) — I hope to get a new one soon! You can't go wrong ... I think it's better than the classic Parker pens my dad, a Mad Man and writer used in the 1950s,

A great pen!

This is my first fountain pen and I'm very happy with it. Everything works just as it should -- it's easy to fill, easy to clean, and easy to write with. It feels quite sturdy and has taken a few falls without any trouble. It was a wonderful experience ordering from here as well, since both it and the ink I purchased with it were safely packaged and simple to track.

Smooth Operator

Purchased this with an Extra Fine nib a few years ago and it is my daily office pen. I love the molded grip, the smoothness of the nib especially for an EF, and the matte finish on the pen. I just purchased a 1.5 stub nib to swap out for fun, which is a great feature with the Lamy Safari pens.

My EDC pen

This pen writes so smooth and effortlessly. The nib is not scratchy at all (I have the 1.1mm nib). You can get a great variation of lines depending on how you hold the pen. This is a great EDC pen that works right out of the box. I highly recommend this pen, you’ll love it!

Great Starter Pen

The pen is great for someone new to fountain pens because it has a triangular grip section that causes you to retain the correct writing position. The nib is nice and smooth and remains nice and wet. I like the pen so much I am going to get a second one to keep inked up with a different colour!
