A good everyday pen

I bought this pen from a different Toronto-based art supply store, and I wish I'd ordered from Wonderpens. Their prices are competitive, their fulfillment is fast and efficient, and the packaging includes a hand-signed postcard featuring a cat. Lovely.

But about the pen: The shiny, bright green ABS body and steel clip give it a casual, toy-like vibe that evokes the best of 1980s fashion and design. This is not a serious pen for the suits in the C-Suite. It's a fun, approachable instrument. It isn't just for special occasions. It doesn't demand special care. It's perfectly suited for writing the lyrics to your next New Wave synth-pop song. It'll even look good in the video.

Great pen, good quality plastic

I got this pen with a black fine nib (as i heard lamy has inconsistent extra fines) and the pen works great. The blue ink cart. that comes with it is a generic ballpoint blue.

The green was slightly lighter than the picture and more smooth than expected. The whole body basically feels like the pilot metropolitan grip in terms of plastic.

Overall it is a very sturdy good quality pen. If i had to choose between this and the metropolitan though I'd take the metro due to cost and the fact that its metal.
