G. Lalo Toile Imperiale - A4(50 sheets)

I usually use Tomoe River paper and wanted something different. The paper has a lovely grid texture and will be appreciated by the receiver. Obviously, your fountain pen will 'feel' this paper more than standard paper, but it isn't distracting. There is no bleed through using a stub nib and feathering seems non-existent. Sheen, shading, and shimmer were less than Tomoe River, but I expected that as well. Defintely a 'heavier' paper than Tomoe River but about the same as Clairefontaine. The back side is smooth so getting only one-sided use will be the norm. An excellent paper for special occasions and recipients.
