Midori MD Notebook Leather Cover - A6

A beautiful leather notebook cover made specifically for the Midori
MD notebooks. The leather starts as a light tan, but will quickly
develop a rich patina which will darken the leather. Followers of Midori
Traveler's Notebooks are familiar with the quality put in these covers.
The notebook also features 2 cardholder slots, and a built in pen loop,
which can be tucked away.

Don't be put off by the colour...

I'll be the first to say that the light fleshy colour of this leather wouldn't be my first choice, but after having this notebook cover just a little over two weeks, and taking it everywhere, I can already see it darkening. The leather quality is exquisite and the design with the pen loop is ingenious. This cover may take a bit longer to warm up to, unlike its flashy Traveler's Notebook cousin, but I think long term the wabi-sabi aesthetic of the MD cover, when it's been lived with and loved a long time, will be second to none. I can't wait to see what it looks like after a year of use.
