Functional, but not my colour

I was all hopped up on discovering that I like purple inks after using J. Herbin’s poussièrre de lune, and thought this would be fun in my Kaweco Sport. It does write pretty good, although it didn’t show any interesting characteristics like shading. The colour is meh for me- what I would expect from a purple ballpoint- it doesn’t lean either red or blue, there’s no pretty grey or black undertones, and to be honest it looks too vibrant on the page for me. Maybe it just reminded me of gel pen colours in elementary school in the 90’s too much, but I don’t really know if I’ll use up the other cartridges. On the positive side, I got some blunt tip syringes and can now refill the cartridge with all sorts of inks, which seems to be the best method for using my sport more often. If you want to express your inner 90’s kid, then you might enjoy this ink!

Eraseable

I purchased these ink cartridges for my daughter to use in her School Pen (my way of getting her into FPs).

The cartridges are well priced and very convinient for those on the go.

The ink itself is well behaved. It flows well in all pens that I've tried it in. It prodices a little bit of shading when used with a broad nib. It also works well on types of papers.

I compared it to a Pelikan violet ink that I have. This ink has a very similar shade but is wetter. I prefer this over the Pelikan.

I came across an interesting property by mistake. The ink can be erased using eraser pens!

So overall, for the low price thay you pay for these cartridges, they are worth it.
