New Sailor Ink Obsession

I ordered a 2 mL sample as I am getting back into using my fountain pens and had never used a Sailor ink before, but had seen all the hype. Well, I get it now.
This ink is so pretty! The base colour of this ink is the gorgeous medium-light blue from the photos above, but the shading makes it look different. On Leuchtturm 120gsm paper with a Lamy Safari 1.1 stub nib, the ink dries mostly to a lighter blue with the ink pools drying to the base colour and a gorgeous lavender colour! It also works on other papers, though not as pronounced. It was such a fun surprise to see, and people have been commenting on my notes/events.
