A unique "parallel" nib created by Pilot, and designed specifically for calligraphy and lettering practice. The unique design allows the user to create thin lines or very thick strokes with just a flick of the wrist, and is the perfect tool for calligraphers of all skill levels.

Can be used with any fountain pen ink.
Comes with two proprietary ink cartridges (1 blue, 1 red) and one cleaning bulb.

Included "converter" isn't actually a converter

according to a few sources, the converter included is not actually a converter but a cleaning tool. On the other than the pilot con-50 does fit the parallel if you want to use your own favourite bottled inks. I have also heard that if you push the included cleaning converter down hard enough it clicks into place... but no sources have confirmed that.
