The most economical of the TWSBI pen line - this lightweight balanced pen is perfect if you're getting into the world of fountain pens. With its large piston filling ink capacity, it's perfect for everyday use. The twist cap is nice and secure for transportation, and the clear demonstrator body allows you to know exactly how much ink you have left. The Eco-T features a slightly more pronounced triangular grip.

Dimensions: 14cm capped (17 cm posted)
Weight: 20g

Pen does not come with any ink. TWSBI ECO can be a bit more difficult to fill from ink samples and work best filling from bottle ink.

The best budget pen

This was my second TWSBI- I also got an Eco in white. I really prefer the slightly more shaped grip- it’s not as dramatic as a Lamy Safari, but it is enough that it keeps my nib in the right spot. One thing I didn’t notice until after I compared both pens is the difference in cap shape- the Eco-T has a rounded triangular cap instead of a sharp hexagon. I like it a lot, I think it looks more stream-lined and less clunky. Other than that, this has all the same great aspects as the Eco- a huge capacity and demonstrator body that make this the best pen for ink lovers. I got this pen with the 1.1 stub nib to try something a little different, and while it took some getting used to for my writing angle and style, I really love how it makes my writing look, and how well it shows off all the inks I love. I would absolutely recommend this pen to anyone I know interested in fountain pens, the piston filling system works perfectly and lets you enjoy one of the best reasons to use them: INKS!

easy to fill, pleasure to write with

I've had the pen for a few weeks now - very easy to fill, and has a good weight and feel while writing. I like the slightly more triangular grip.
I have the fine nib, and it works on all my random notepads and work books without smearing or bleeding through the pages (unless you really scribble down).
