TWSBI Diamond 580 ALR Fountain Pen - Prussian Blue

TWSBI fountain pens have become one of the most popular companies with a
loyal following that's growing by the day. With a name inspired from centuries of classic Chinese calligraphy and culture, TWSBI has come from over 40 years of manufacturing in plastics and metal to create a fountain pen balancing modern aesthetics and mechanical function. Traditional writing instruments have been redesigned to become the perfect tool for our modern world.

The 580 ALR has all the great features fans have grown to love with the 580: a clear body allowing you to see you ink, but now sporting a Prussian Blue textured aluminum section. The piston fill mechanism is clean and smooth, and holds a considerable amount of ink. Best of all - you can fully disassemble your pen so you can clean it properly and easily.

Please note that no ink comes with this pen - use with any type of bottled fountain pen ink.

Excellent buying experience, quick and easy. Delivery was quicker than quoted by several days. I'd recommend Wonder Pens and will be purchasing from them again soon.

Great quality pen

Received the pen today and very happy with it. The package of the pen is simple but very presentable. The pen has a nice weight to it and the build quality feels extremely solid. It writes wetter than I imagined and has quite some feedback. Overall, very enjoyable pen.

Nice ... but ...

This is good for quick notes, but I have found that it does not work for long writing periods. The ink capacity and flow from the nib is fine, it's the horizontal lines on the aluminum grip section. It may be just how I hold the pen and my dry hands, but I find it starts to slide around in my fingers during longer writing periods which contributes to more fatigue.

beautiful wonderful pen

I have just received my fountain pen. I am enchanted!!! It writes perfectl even with the extra fine nib. The colour is as expected, beautiful... The ink I ordered with it changes color and becomes darker as it dries up, I just love it... my husband has two TWSBI ECOT fountain pen and he too is very happy with them.

Nicer than the picture

I'm a big vintage pen guy, so this was my first "modern" pen that isn't from a classic brand. What a beautiful wet writer in the 1.1mm stub. I write pages and pages every day and it still lasts me more than a week on a single fill. That's just unheard of for me! What a vat of ink.
