Traveler's Company Brass Fountain Pen

This is a lovely and compact brass pen. You’ll start to see your patina develop within just an hour of use. I’m sure that for some having the pen appear to degrade so quickly would be worrying—this looks like a whole new pen after even just a day—but that sort of heirloom-quality, old-world feeling was what sold me on this pen, and in that regard it swiftly delivers. I’m not trying to be silly or romantic when I say that having the pen weather and age with you as you use it is a really sweet, enjoyable feeling.

So in terms at least of its chassis, this fees like a really high-quality pen. My only problem has been with the slightly misaligned tines of my nib. This is really an almost imperceptible fault, but it results sometimes in a bit of distracting clicking. With time, I’m sure that clicking will begin to disappear.

Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase, and the team at Wonder Pens are so approachable and helpful that I don’t doubt I’ll buy more pens from them in the future.
