More a B than a 2B

Review of the 2B grade:
Even if there is no norm for pencil grading (Wiki told me) I have always relied on grading in my choice of pencils. It has always been something I could count on, after all we are talking about professional tool used by artists and engineers and manufactured by reputed makers. Now I have this Faber Castell Goldfaber 2B that doesn't show any difference with a Staedtler B that I have on hand or any other Bs that I used in my life. It is not a bid deal but still surprising. In the same order I received two Mitsu-Bishi 9000 2B, and I can say based on my experience that they are real 2Bs.
Also of note, the two Goldfaber I received are different from the one pictured above: it has the "SV" mark on the underside but not the mention "1221", only the "Goldfaber" mark.
