2 of 5 Great when it lasts, but it doesn't last. February 22, 2020

I had this pen for some time now, can't recall how many years ago I bought this, but it was lightly used. I just found lots of micro-fractures running down the grip-section and one of the crack was big enough to let ink leak through. I've owned two TWSBI pens including this, the other being the old Vac700. Now that they've both cracked (Vac cracked twice), I'm not going to bother ordering replacement parts. They were both great pens while they worked, also very affordable for the features. However, I now have zero trust in their durability.

5 of 5 Excellent Value April 29, 2018

I bought the extra fine, and I'm surprised that it's actually thicker than my Pilot Metropolitan in fine. It's still fine enough for my tastes and writes very smoothly with a bit of toothy feedback for a nib this fine. The build quality is very solid and the ink capacity lasts me weeks. Seeing the ink slosh around makes the pen very attractive, but several people have mistaken it as a vape so be aware of that in professional environments.

5 of 5 Love it!! April 30, 2017
Reviewer: Paul Aningat from Arviat, NU Canada
I'm new to this fountain pen writing so don't knock me down too much.
I have both Eco 1.1 stub and now the Eco extra fine nib. The extra fine is now my go to pen for work during the week and evenings at home after work. The nib doesn't feel scratchy, it writes well. I love this pen!!
I'm wondering if this IS the extra finest pen out there? Is there another pen with a nib that can write even finer than the one I have? Thank you.

5 of 5 My task pen January 19, 2017

Paired with Noodler's Bad Black Moccasin, this is to be my work pen. Over the past week I've put it through it's paces and I am very happy with the performance. It writes smoothly and puts down a nice, rich line. To boot, I won't cry a river if one of my fellow office riff-raff absconds with it, at which point, I'd buy another.

5 of 5 Great pen for the price December 2, 2016
Reviewer: AH from Kirkland Lake, ON Canada
I have been using a Pelikan 205 for a number of years and the pen is really showing its age.  I went looking for a reasonably priced replacement for it and bought an Eco with a fine nib.  The pen is ideally sized and weighted for me with a very large reservoir that is perfect for my needs at work.  TWSBI has a winner in the Eco.
