Toronto Calligraphy Class: Studio Shop - Intermediate Pointed Pen

Join us at our Toronto Studio Shop (290 Gerrard Street East) for an intermediate calligraphy class taught by expert calligrapher Michele Nidenoff, who is also involved with the Calligraphy Arts Guild in Toronto. She has a wealth of experience in calligraphy as well as illustration and fine art, and has studied at OCAD. Also, she teaches calligraphy classes for the TDSB.

You must have attended our Introduction to Pointed Pen Class to participate in this class.

This class is designed as a continuation of the Introduction to Pointed Pen Class, and will expand upon the Copperplate basics learned in that class. A brief refresher will be done of the alphabet will be done. Students will then be shown variations of letters, and how flourishes can be added. A special focus will be on how to connect letters together to form words, and then create full sentences.

All the same tools should be brought with you from the previous class. If additional tools are needed please email us right away so we can put them aside for purchase on class day. No preparation is needed, but you are encouraged to come 5-10 minutes early to get settled in.
