5 of 5 just what I wanted May 16, 2020

I was pleased to find these for sale in your shop. As AF noted in their 2020-01-31 review below, I'd also seen a guide to using them for fountain pens on another site (Jet Pens, in my case), and I was glad to find a Canadian store that offers them.

Since I always end up with inky fingers when I refill via converter the usual way, I hoped transferring ink from bottle to converter via syringe might be a better option for me, and it definitely is. I've also experimented with refilling an empty cartridge and with a little ink-mixing. Fun!

14ga is a relatively large gauge, and it's just barely too big to fit in my oldest converter, which came with a Reform pen I bought around 1990. I don't know if there are regulations about what size needles can be sold by stationery stories, but one suggestion for a future iteration of this item might be to include 2 different gauges in this set, 14 and 18 gauge, maybe?

5 of 5 Very useful - one caveat May 4, 2020
Reviewer: Troy from Nova Scotia
These are incredibly useful, and they come apart easily for cleaning. One thing to note however is that these are designed to be disposable, the markings on the syringe will wear off after some use (the markings are water soluble). If you want to preserve the markings, some tape or nail polish should do the trick.

4 of 5 They work January 31, 2020
Reviewer: AF from Winnipeg
They work and are blunt. However, I was hoping to be able to fill up my TWSBI Eco by inserting the tip of the needle into the small hole after you remove your feed, only to find out the tip was too large to fit. I saw a video of Goulet Pens using a syringe to fill it up and thought it would work, but it's my fault for not double-checking. 4/5 stars.

5 of 5 Easy to clean August 1, 2016

These syringes serve their purpose well for transferring ink, however the nice part for me is that they come apart easily which makes cleaning a snap.

5 of 5 Many uses July 29, 2015
Reviewer: KKW from Guelph, ON Canada
These syringes are good for many things:

- If you convert a pen to eyedropper fill, you can use the syringe to fill your pen and write your novel before you have to refill it.

- If you have a pen that only uses cartridges and you can't or don't want to convert it, you can easily refill the cartridges with a syringe.

- You can also easily clean out the cartridges with a syringe.

- If you're into mixing inks, you can measure precisely so you can duplicate your best colours.

- And, a the previous reviewer said, you can get every drop of ink out of a bottle.

The syringes work well; they're not at all sticky.
