5 of 5 Great pen for beginners and beyond February 18, 2015
Reviewer: MR from Toronto, ON Canada
This was one of the first pens that I bought (fine nib). It writes very smoothly and I actually prefer it sometimes to my more expensive pens. Even though it's from Japan, the nib seems closer to a European fine (for example it's not as fine as the fine nib on my Pilot 78G). I love the grip diameter -- not to thick and not too thin. It's not only a great pen for someone just getting into fountain pens, but for anyone who wants a smooth writer. You can't get much better value than the Plaisir.

5 of 5 Platinum Plaisir August 30, 2014
Reviewer: Paul Doiron from Moncton, NB Canada
What do I like about the Plaisir? The pen is constructed of anodized aluminum, with a smooth finish. This one will not crack. The cap fits very securely. The chromed cap band is a tad prominent, but I like it. The pen writes reliably and smoothly. The transparent section (grippy part) is transparent, cylindrical, of good length and is not slippery. It is very comfortable in my hand. The cartridge is particular to Platinum. I like the design of it, and it is refillable. A converter is also available, which works well. A great many pens I have used fall short of this one's virtues. This is one item that has been well named:  a Plaisir indeed.
