Platinum 3776 Celluloid Tortoise with Gold Trim

Japanese pen company Platinum's famous 3776 pen is named after the metric height of Mount Fuji. Since the 3776 Century's inception in 1978, the pen has been refined and upgraded to offer the highest quality. The pen features a "slip and seal" mechanism in the cap, meaning that these pens are able to keep ink for longer without drying out.

This 3776 in Tortoise utilizes Celluloid to allow for a gorgeous translucent body in a classic tortoise shell motif.

I never quite realized what the difference was between plastic vs. celluloid until I purchased this pen.  This pen is smooth, and feels amazing and you can notice the difference between the non celluloid 3776.  The pen wrote beautiful right out of the box, and lays down a nice amount of ink.  I own a lot of pens, and this by far is one of my favourite pens because it feels great, writes amazingly, and is gorgeous to look at with the accents of gold.

On top of that, Wonderpens service is amazing to a point that I don't shop anywhere else.  Thanks for the amazing pen.
