Midori MD Notebook Leather Cover - A6

A beautiful leather notebook cover made specifically for the Midori MD notebooks. The leather starts as a light tan, but will quickly develop a rich patina which will darken the leather. Followers of Midori Traveler's Notebooks are familiar with the quality put in these covers. The notebook also features 2 cardholder slots, and a built in pen loop, which can be tucked away.

Fits the Midori MD Notebook - A6 - 4" x 6".
Also, fits the Hobonichi A6 Planners

Note: Notebook is not included with the cover.

Check out the blog for more details on this cover, as well as pictures of how the leather ages over a year of use.

5 of 5 Don't be put off by the colour... April 10, 2018

I'll be the first to say that the light fleshy colour of this leather wouldn't be my first choice, but after having this notebook cover just a little over two weeks, and taking it everywhere, I can already see it darkening. The leather quality is exquisite and the design with the pen loop is ingenious. This cover may take a bit longer to warm up to, unlike its flashy Traveler's Notebook cousin, but I think long term the wabi-sabi aesthetic of the MD cover, when it's been lived with and loved a long time, will be second to none. I can't wait to see what it looks like after a year of use.

3 of 5 OK, but.. August 31, 2016

I purchased this cover for the Quo Vadis A6 notebooks, and for that purpose it works beautifully, holding two notebooks at any one time. However, the colour is not pleasing at all. Yes, the leather does darken; however, I have heavily used this cover for one year, and it is still a very pale, almost peach colour. I doubt it will ever darken any further. It stains very easily. On the other hand, the quality of the leather itself is very good, and the stitching has survived the year. In summary, I would not buy this again because the colour is not nearly dark enough.
