Great pen design, okay nib March 9, 2017
Reviewer: Kyle Ruzic from Calgary, AB Canada
The design of the pen and the feel of it is amazing, the nib is the only reason it is not 5 stars. It is a very hard nib and feels quite scratchy at times, I have the extra fine.

Gorgeous Pen! March 2, 2017
Reviewer: Holly Johnson from Levack, ON Canada
This is my first Lamy Al-Star and it does not disappoint. I chose the EF nib as that is my favorite size in Lamy nibs. The pen is absolutely beautiful and a joy to write with right out of box. I'm a real fan of Lamy pens because I like the interchangeable nibs, overall design, affordability, triangular grip section, and quality. The Al-Star does feel like it's a step up from the Safari, but...the Safari is the pen I'll continue to collect...I love all the colors that are available.
