Disappointing March 18, 2018
Reviewer: Julie from BC
I had high hopes for this pen based on the reviews I read on this site.  It looks cool and is a nice compact size but that’s about all it’s got going for it.  I’ve given it a fair shake but am giving up on it now because I don’t enjoy writing with it.  From the beginning it skipped - I flushed it a couple of times in the hopes it would make the ink flow more smoothly to no avail.  I have to store it nib down and apply a lot of pressure when I use it to keep the ink flowing.  I bought a Monteverde Aldo Donani around the same time and it is a joy to use.

Soft Nib, Great Pocket Pen March 31, 2017

I eyedropper converted the pen and haven't had any sort of burping problems. It wrote a little on the dry side at first, but after a little bit of tinkering, it's easily one of my favourite pens.

Great starter pen November 13, 2016
Reviewer: S.R from Ancaster, ON Canada
I bought this clear demonstrator fountain pen for my young son so he becomes inspired to learn cursive handwriting and the art of the fountain pen without too much difficulties. I splurged and purchased the ink converter for this pen and found it to be a great conversation piece as my 9-year-old is intrigued by the varieties and variations of ink and how to add it to the pen. This pen is a great for a lefty as my son has struggled with other pens.

My Second Kaweco Classic Sport! Love it! April 11, 2016
Reviewer: J. from Milton, ON Canada
My first Kaweco is a black one, for my all formal writing in black ink. I was thinking to get a demonstrator for highlighting. It is exactly what I expect it to be. I can't wait to turn it to an eyedropper after finishing up those cartridges.

I have two and love them both December 22, 2015
Reviewer: Cathy Merriman from Dartmouth, NS Canada
I bought two of these, a fine nib and a medium nib. I use the fine for writing notes during meetings, editing documents etc., and the medium with a red ink or orange for marking and highlighting. I converted both to eyedropper, which makes them real conversation pieces!  And the ink lasts for ages, with the large capacity of the full barrel.

The nibs write smoothly, though after a few months, occasionally a random blob of ink will slide out of the fine nib while I'm writing. This hasn't happened with the medium (though I don't write with it as much).

These are great travel pens as long as you remain on the ground. With their compact size, I can slip both of them into my front jeans pocket, into a purse pocket or small pen case. I made the mistake of taking them on a plane trip, even in the cabin - the seal on my eyedropper conversion leaked, ink got into the lid end and I can't remove it. But these are my sturdy working pens and I don't mind that they look a little extra inky.
