Medium grassy green April 22, 2017

My experience with Diamine Meadow is two-fold. I definitely love the colour. It is a medium grassy green colour (darker than the swatch shown). It is not too bright and therefore it's easy on your eyes for longer texts. It has some shading qualitites. The drying time is a bit longer. So if you are one of us who tends to run hands over your pages, be careful with this ink, it does tend to smear.

My only issue is that like some other Diamine inks I own (Ochre and Amber), this batch of ink tends to "gunk" around the nib of a pen if you don't use it for few days. It has to be wiped before writing.

Meadow is a great name for this ink. September 14, 2016

Bright natural looking green. Not a colour I can use everyday, but it really looks nice.

Shades nicely from yellow green to slightly bright green. This ink on paper reminds me of fresh early summer grass in bright morning sunlight. It's a very natural looking colour. Very pleasant to see.

Light to medium green August 22, 2015

For some reason, I have always received a darker green shade with this ink than the photos show on websites. While this ink shows up as yellow green on the website, I found the ink to be more like new grass (hence the name, green meadow.)

I have used this ink in both a Jinhao X750 (which leaked in the grip) and on a Pilot Falcon SF. While it flows smoothly like all Diamine inks, it started railroading for me on the Falcon Flex nib after the third page. I suspect that I was writing too fast though this is an odd occurrence for any Diamine ink.

This ink showed good shading. If you look at https://instagram.com/p/5qjuFjt24F/ the grass background shows all the variety that this ink shows in its shading.

I would recommend it as a lighter green (not green-yellow) ink.

Diamine Meadow January 3, 2014

This ink is a medium to light grassy green and is legible on the page using an F nib. I have been using it in a TWSBI diamond mini, and have experienced no problems with flow rate.

Meadow is the first Diamine ink I've used. It seems very smooth and has behaved very well. However, if exposed to water, it seems that this ink doesn't leave much trace of where it was on the page, so if that's a priority you may want to skip this one.
